After installing the new brake pads, it is very important that the pads are bedded in; this will prolong their lifespan.

How to improve the lifespan of your disc brake pads: Bedding in new disc brake pads significantly extends their lifespan! Keep the brake lever slightly pulled while riding, ensuring the pads are in contact with the rotor. Ride for about 100 meters at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour (15 mph), then brake a little harder at the end to reduce your speed to about 5 kilometers per hour (3 mph).
