A mechanical head of complex construction, composed of overlapping plates, gears, and volumes. The bluish-green patina, interrupted by traces of wear and rust, enhances the sense of a machine assembled and readjusted over time. Presented on an austere pedestal, the piece combines technical robustness with an almost animal expressiveness, like an artifact endowed with its own character.

Unique piece. Modeled in epoxy putty with assembled repurposed objects. Painted with shellac, acrylics, chalk paint, wax, and varnish.
