Mrs Plume

Mrs Plume is one of our very latest bears - part of our Mothers Day 2020 release. Like all the bears in this collection, Mrs Plume has been made from an assortment of mohair odds and ends as a way to find a use for more of our personal fabric stash while we wait (and hope) for our latest German fabric import to arrive! Thanks Covid-19! 

We've also dedicated this entire batch of bears to incredible teachers everywhere. Homeschooling our children during these uncertain times, while also continuing to work, has given us a huge appreciation for everything teachers do! Our wonderful collectors suggested names of their favourite teachers, and every bear in this batch features one of those names.

Mrs Plume has been made from three different mohair and alpaca fabrics.  She looks out through black glass eyes, has our distinctive hand embroidered nose, is fully T-pin jointed and stuffed well with polyfill, glass and steel shot.

We've given her our 3D style paw pads, and finished her with a large dangling butterfly pendant and floral collar. Mrs Plume is a one of a kind artist bear.
